VIDEO: OBD TPMS relearn on a Hyundai Azera, featuring Dynamic Pro-Select
ATEQ TPMS Tools releases a new video on how to replace an OE or Aftermarket TPMS sensor with a Dynamic Pro-Select TPMS sensor, then perform an OBD relearn on a Hyundai Azura, using the VT56 TPMS Diagnostic Tool.
The Dynamic Pro-Select TPMS Sensor is a configurable sensor, loaded with the latest TPMS protocols. You can either copy the original OE or aftermarket TPMS sensor or create new sensor ID’s if the original sensor is not in working order. In this video instruction, we show how to create a new sensor ID protocol.
Since new TPMS protocols were written to the sensor, you will need to perform a relearn procedure to write the TPMS sensor information to the vehicle’s ECU.
Asian vehicle manufacturers, such as the Hyundai, require the VT56 to be connected to the vehicle through the OBDII port to write the TPMS sensor information to the vehicle’s ECU. The steps are written within the tool, simply follow the instructions to reset the TPMS system and turn the light off.
