“Placard Adjustment” added to March 2019 Software Update
Livonia, Michigan – ATEQ TPMS Tools is proud to announce the release of Placard Adjustment for the VT56 and select Powered by ATEQ TPMS Tools. As part of ATEQ’s commitment to future-proof TPMS tool technology, users can simply update the VT56 TPMS tool to receive the placard adjustment option.
The new placard adjustment coverage includes GM and Ford vehicles. This function allows users to adjust the standard placard value settings by transferring the new values to the vehicle’s ECU using an OBD module. The settings can be used when changing tires to a different load index than OE tires, such as off-road tires, oversized tires, or low profile tires, to maintain the TPMS system in operation and avoid the TPMS warning light to show.
Since the launch of each TPMS Tool, ATEQ’s engineering and development team have continuously improved and evolved the tool’s software with quarterly software updates. Without the need to purchase additional tools, hardware or accessories to keep up with the fast-paced TPMS market, customers can simply update their TPMS tool to get the latest functions and features. With the highest quality hardware and software built-in, customers prefer ATEQ-powered tools, making ATEQ the number one TPMS tool brand worldwide.
