ATEQ TPMS Tools releases a new video on how to replace an OE or Aftermarket TPMS sensor on a Ford F-Series with a REDI-sensor using the VT56 TPMS Diagnostic Tool. ATEQ is proud to introduce the new REDI-sensor part number to the TPMS tool line, SE10003A. The new part number includes applications for 2018 models such as Ford, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, and Volvo.

Steps on how to replace a TPMS sensor with the REDI-Sensor using a VT56 (Part #SE10003A):

  • The REDI-sensor is a multi-protocol sensor, pre-loaded with protocols. So first, we must unlock the sensor to activate the Ford protocol.
  • From the main menu, go to PROGRAM, select SENSOR, then navigate to VDO Redi-Sensor.
  • Press the green button to unlock the sensor. You will see the new TPMS ID protocol.
  • After the REDI-sensor has been installed to the wheel, go to the SERVICE menu to perform a Manual or OBD relearn. Follow the relearn steps to write the TPMS sensor ID’s the vehicle’s ECU, and turn the TPMS light off.
